My name is Pooja and I am 10 years old. I got Vitiligo when I was six years old. I went to many different doctors. One of them even peeled off some of the skin from my eyes and it stung!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a while, we started using Protopic. My parents did not like it so we went to India and saw a doctor there. The doctor gave me some nasty medicine. Everyday I have to take two cup of liquid medicine, half a tablet, and apply paste on my face. The medicines are nasty but they have helped me. I used to have patches all around both of my eyes but now one eye has cleared up and the other only has a little dot on it. My knees are also getting a lot better.

My vitiligo has never bothered me in my life.
